Interestingly, all of that massive potential to pollute the HF bands (used by far more agencies than just ARRL supporters), is only a BYPRODUCT of BPL, and is not necessary for BPL to work, only physically unavoidable as it passes along power lines that were never designed to be broadband pipes.
