Loosing touch

I'm sure this is not a new problem, but what's the solution?

I have Xplornet (which works just fine) and connect through a D-Link DI-624. From time to time each connect to the net seems to take longer and longer, as though the system forgets I'm there. Pulling the power cord on the D-Link or hitting 'Repair' makes things improve. Eventually the answer seems to be to pull the power plug on the Xplornet modem, and the D-Link, count to ten and reconnect -- returning swifter service.

Any suggestions? Or do I simply do the above every day or so?

Is this a router artifact, or an Xplornet artifact?

Thanks Pete

Shouldn't have to reset daily.

I'll pull the power from my router and modem once in a while just to reboot.

Have you contacted Xplornet?

Greeting PeteOW. I too have this probleme and do not know the cause of it. Each 6 hours, i totally lose my connection to internet and have to pull the power cord from the xplornet modem. I use D-link dl 604 router and have a surfbeam modem. My satellite is a telsat ka-band and i use the kazam connection. I am doing various tests right now, so if i get anything new, i will be sure to post it here.
