Nintendo Revolution here I come...

Forget the Xbox 360, Nintendo Revolution, here I come

If they make the revolution console itself affordable (Say between $200-$250), I will look at purchasing one.

But all these classic games from Nintendo and now Sega which they will be putting up for download is what really makes me want one.

And this is coming from a person who said that "I would never buy another console" after the fall of the dreamcast.

That would be another great feather in Nintendo's cap if they did bring up the actual arcade versions on games like Cruisin' USA and not just console ports back in the SNES and Genesis days. Any word on that?

I can believe this. Unlike Microsoft and Sony, which are looking to "own the media experience" with machines that can do everything but tell you who'll get "offed" on The Sopranos next week, Nintendo has been adamant about being a pure gaming company. This focus allows them to release a pared-down, less-expensive console designed to do just that- play games.

I'm more or less out of the console market... but believe me, I would never have bothered using the PS2 or XBox to play anything other than games.
