That would be another great feather in Nintendo's cap if they did bring up the actual arcade versions on games like Cruisin' USA and not just console ports back in the SNES and Genesis days. Any word on that?

acutally, the last thing i read said they were looking to seel the revolution for more like $150 with $30 games.

I can believe this. Unlike Microsoft and Sony, which are looking to "own the media experience" with machines that can do everything but tell you who'll get "offed" on The Sopranos next week, Nintendo has been adamant about being a pure gaming company. This focus allows them to release a pared-down, less-expensive console designed to do just that- play games.

I'm more or less out of the console market... but believe me, I would never have bothered using the PS2 or XBox to play anything other than games.
