 | Lol I find it funny how all these people qare admitting to doing illegal things online.
Any emulators are illegal. All it takes is to report a site to nintendo. Also by downlaoding the roms you are risking virus's gallor since the roms are illegal .
This will be awesome.
If downlaodable classics are so bad then why is mircosoft doing it now with games like streetfighter and paperboy? |

Come on now, don't you really think the users here at this site already know that emulators/roms are illeagal? This is common knowledge (at least to the users here). There's no need to continue to beat that dead horse. Leave it alone. |

If you own the original, then it's not illegal to posses the contents of the cartridge on your computer. It goes along with the "fair use" act. Ironically enough, the same law applies to the MP3 scene, so thats why the RIAA are jumping on all the people "DISTRIBUTING" the said "illegal" software. If you "DISTRIBUTE" copyrighted material, you are in for a lawsuit.

Because it's like a flashback to the good ol' days, when it was "neat" to have 8 bit graphics, with 16 on screen colors, and crappy sound. I love my emulated games, and I am so glad someone took the time to port them to PC for FREE. |

No, it is not legal for you to have the ROM if you extracted it yourself from your copy of the game.
Yes, there is no way to tell the difference between the 2 copies. But the downloaded copy is illegal if it was provided illegally.
You don't really think someone providing this for download would be let off if his defense was, "I was only letting people download it that owned the game," do you? |
