Upload went from solid 609Kbps to a solid 510Kbps. Same line pairs, no other changes than switch to Covad circuit with Netopia 3347W gateway/router.
Before the "upgrade", I was routinely getting 200-400KB/s downloads from most good servers, 120-190KB/s with average servers, over my 1.5Mbps/768Kbps (1260Kbps/609Kbps actual) MCI connection. My upload speed was consistently great, and the download was a LOT FASTER than I should have been getting. After the "upgrade", I'm getting 3330Mbps/510Kbps actual speed, with downloads from fast servers at around 200KB/s, and uploads at around 57KB/s. Not so great performance, plus there is some latency attached to the use of the DNS servers. Lookups sometimes hang from 1-2, to several, seconds before resolving. I have intermittent disconnects, as well.
Not real pleased with Covad, but at least my price point for their service is low. |

Highland Park, IL | My download has been roughly the same (as far as I can tell) and my uptime is over 4 days. Don't know about DNS since I run my own caching nameserver. |

What's the ping times to the nearest hop? Have you checked if you're set to safe mode at the CO?
Covad forum is a better source for information.
My upload speed is the same.
Use the speed test on this site and compare your results to people with the same bandwidth tier with covad. |

I know interleaving is on, but it's not my biggest gripe now. Covad's view is that just because I got 650kps with MCI, it doesn't mean that I should get it from Covad.
Some folks have upload speeds that are around 650kps in my area. Greg at digizip has opened a trouble ticket for me but I'm not really expecting anything to come out of it. |

same here loss about 100-150kbps from my upload. and i get disconnected every few days. downloads been about the same 160k\s. |
