Yep, Bluetooth also uses RF. Just like WiFi, and your 2.4GHz home telephone.

One thing I've seen is a number of my friends drop their phones in their lap and leave them there when they're not using them. I advise them, that if they want to keep on having kids, they better not leave that phone there.

BT has a fraction of transmitting power of a cell phone - think about it: it operates within 10-15 meters only, not from miles away.

RF is still RF. Enough of it will cook your innards.

And how far a singal will go is irrelevant to how much damage it can/could/might do to your body at an inch away.

Bluetooth has been modfied with high gain antennas (read, more RF) to go a mile.
