wxbossThis is like Deja vu all over again.Premium join:2005-01-30 Jacksonville, FL | Wireless woes? There is such a thing as a resonant frequency which can be likened to conductivity in electrical circuits. The human body has a resonant frequency (wish I could remember the exact Hz). If there is RF transmitting at the body's resonant frequency, that poses the greatest risk. If the RF is outside that frequency, the human body is less attuned to it and its 'conductivity' of that RF is less, hence less harmful to the body.
I do believe the resonant freq is quite low for humans. While being subjected to wireless access points, cell phones continually is not all that preferable, it is not as harmful as it could be.
Next month there will be another report refuting these claims and the debate will go on. I'm not going to give up my wireless stuff yet |

Does anyone know how Wifi (laptop broadband) affects the body? cell phones are 2W and regular phones less than .5 but we must not forget the effects of getting flooded with wifi RF daily (if u have a network) and what the effects of a laptop on ur lap means. Thats to say, if the heat from the lappy doesn't get to ur special spot first. ^_^ -- Cant do it yourself? Shadow Replicate...If all else fails?...Shadow Replicate some more! |

Well, my ears are big, so maybe it helps with the reception |

| Scientist once thought that whole body X rays yearly were a good thing. That personal microwave generators were the future on home heating, why heat the room when you could just heat your body. I had a neighbor a few years back that had a microwave which had a defective safety interlock, he would open, and stir things, while the microwave was running, he never got sick. So by the thinking that many of you are using it must be safe to open a working microwave. |

I love the amateur scientists of the world that know so much more than the "real" scientists. -- Day dreaming days in a daydream nation |
