Eastern shore of Maryland shares a peninsula with lower Delaware on the Eastern side of the Chesapeake Bay. The Western Shore is opposite the Peninsula on the other side of the Chesapeake.

I do remember how nice of a place Baltimore was to visit when he was mayor there though... now if I go to the Inner Harbor I am more likely to be accosted by bums and panhandlers than to enjoy myself anymore.
But as for the Eastern Shore... I'd love to live there if it wasn't so far form where I work.

I knew his time as mayor and he was decent in that he hated red tape and always wanted to get things done. He even made a promise that if the National Aquarium didn't open on time, he would swim in the outdoor seal tank. True to his word, he was decked out in an old time bathing suit with a Donald Duck inflatable toy and went in.
As a governor, he wasn't too good.  |
