kudos:1 | Where's the details . . and the service? I live firmly within the map for this service from Wildfire Broadband Wireless Communications »www.wildfirebroadband.com/ but so far it hasn't shown up on any wireless system I've booted up.
A nearby buddy has reported it works, at least for the 30 free web sites.
The company's web site offers few details on the service, like speed, availability, privacy, etc. I couldn't even find a sign up site until nearby buddy called Friday night.
Other online sources (»www.belairnetworks.com/about_bel···?p_id=76) say the network will offer access speeds of up to 6Mbps downstream and 2Mbps upstream. If so, this service level at $29 per month beats Cox Communcations service at $40+ a month. |
