I have a Intel(R) Pro/Wireless 2200 BG card in my dell inspiron notebook. I was originally using a WPA-PSK TKIP connection. When I set it up, it worked perfectly for about a day-even after turning off the computer and rebooting several times. The next morning I turned on the computer and it said I was connected but would not allow me to access any internet pages or log on to instant messenger. I rechecked my router settings (basic belkin b/g router) and checked my wireless card, but everything checked out perfectly......except that I could no longer access the internet. I finally was able to access the internet after turning off the WPA security. What am I doing wrong?
You probably aren't doing anything wrong except using an Intel card. 16 pages of postings about the Intel cards here: »Intel pro/wireless 2200 BG Problems.
