| Private Use and Profiting from Piracy are different! The Attorney General wants to get this passed saying that it funds terrorism. Well, downloading from P2P sites for personal use does not generate any income for infringers. Therefore, they must be talking about infringing copyrights in order to sell copyrighted works and make a profit. So why not put in a provision that excludes downloading for personal private use? Oh, because that's just a load of crap they are trying to use to kill our "freedom" even more. And most people in America are to stupid to see this. They will accept anything the government tells them and naively assume the government has their best interests in mind. |
