Re: [ViaTalk] Incoming not working.

Get your admin password from Viatalk. Then change ring waveform from sinusoidal to trapezoidal under "Regional" tab.

I found this trick through another hot deal discussion forum. Worked for me.

I do have a request for Viatalk though. Please test your setting against some popular phones before shipping out your adapters.

I signed up BYOD. I own my PAP2 from the Staples deal or whatever it was. What would changing the ring waveform do? BTW, my setup works line there was nothing wrong and I did not change anything other than the ip address for the adapter when VT support made me connect it directly to the cable modem. Very wierd but I'm working for now. I don't like problems that didn't have a solution. If something fixes itself, there is a chance for it to not work again.

The incoming call reached your device, however the waveform the adapter sent to your cordless phone was not understood by the phone. Change the waveform will ring the phone.
