| Long Island Prices This is the pricing structure for Long Island. | |
|
 | | Re: Long Island Prices I just got off of the phone with VZ. I asked for the upgrade and she told me that it was coming automatically on 06/01/06. She seemed very knowledgeable too. She said an email will come to FiOS customers in late May to let them know about the speed upgrade but the 15/2 going to 20/5 will be free and auotmatic. | |

 | | | Re: Long Island Prices Grreat! This wouldn't have anything to do with Cablevision's release of the proprietary 50/50 megabit symmetric package, now would it? available, around 6/1/06 and... Why annouce 30 days prior? | |

 | | | | Re: Long Island Prices I don't know about the timing of this. I know that cable's quality was horrible though. That was the main reason that I left Time Warner and went with FiOS. With cable, it was literally a crap shoot if you'd be connected when you got home from work. I've lost more than one eBay auction because of lost connectivity. With FiOS, I'll bet I haven't been down 3 minutes total in a year. Having the speed boost for no extra $$$ is going to be nice. | |

low tier, +5 mbps on download only.
High tier, no change. | |
