Was this for a class or your personal computer.  <br>Plus as far as I have seen unless someone is a CS major they are dumbfounded by linux especially if you don't have an X server running.  Might as well be a physical access firewall around here, lol.<br><SMALL>--<br>Running mdk 2006 & Ubutnu 5.10!Virus, spyware, bluescreen... What's that like?</SMALL>]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/1307457"><b>uid1307457</b></A> : well, 9am im setting up a linux VPN server.<br>950am, the server needed an update, so i started to update.<br>10am, i started to rpm -ivh all i needed<br>1010am, i went to my windows server for a sec, turned around and this guy had come in and started to get pissed off because he couldnt sit at the other computer i was using (the linux) so he proceded to power down my linux...i was like WTF dude, there is 35 computers here and only 12 students.<br>1115am, class started, and i had to start over, he managed to shut the linux server down at a critical time and i was forced to reinstall the damn thing because he threw a hissy fit.<br><br>so, has anyone else ever had an incident like this before?]]></description>
