kudos:1 | Yeah but you don't need AOHELL to use that, so what is the point of their service in the first place.
AOL is just stupid for waiting this long and not doing anything, they just keep them self stuck in the past. If they were smart they would change the pricing to $10 to compete with other dialup, make the bring your own access free with ads or $5 without ads. And clean up the software and make it easier for noobs to connect without it (to show them AOL ISN'T the internet  ).
But they wont do any of that, they will still be offering overpriced dialup 10 years from now when most people are on 20+ mbps connections... That is if AOL is still around then. |

I went through hell trying to point that out to a friend of the family who was getting raped for AOL dialup.
She was worried about her email/contacts... I showed her that she could access it all from my Comcast connection.
Ah well, sheeple will be sheeple.
