Re: Lets see what happens when their contracts are up! I have been on DSL for 6 years now,switched over from cable and never going back, and the price has gone down every year, and that is for their top speed packages.

I bet you cant say that about cable, in fact reverse those numbers  |

| Kudos to AT&T and Verizon for offering low cost broadband. As an IT professional I advise many people on Internet services. Most people who are not Internet nerds can’t tell the difference between 768 or 10mbps, so I can’t ethically advise them to spend more money for something they won’t use. One thing is for sure they can tell the difference between $15 and $49 per month. Of the dozens of people I convinced to give up cable, not one regretted it or went back. |

Right. Not looking for the uber-user with a 768 dsl, but to steal from dial-up, and get a foot in the door for a basic broadband sub. |
