still not serious

entertainment industry is still not serious about selling movies.

Every online download service that has been announced has been the same cost (or more!) for less product, has a difficult to use interface and has anti-consumer DRM. Why on earth would someone purchase a download when they can't watch it on their TV, it takes longer to download than going up to the corner and buying the DVD, contains none of the extras on the DVD and has even more restrictive DRM than the DVD?

After a period of poor sales, Warner will probably declare that piracy is killing the market for paid downloads and use this "failed" effort as a reason congress should pass even more draconian laws to punish "piracy".
