Re: I'm rejoicing!

Hahaha, I live in Hunterdon County, and I dream of getting broadband. I'm not kidding. I had a dream a few weeks ago I got a two-way cable Internet connection and I was playing online games with a ping of 20! It was so fun!

Seriously, I cannot get DSL from Verizon, and the cable company in Hunterdon, Service Electric Cable TV & Communications (»www.sectv.com/), only "serves" me with one-way cable, which uses cable to download, but dial-up to upload. I have almost no hope of ever getting a true broadband connection as long as I live here.

You sure about that? SECTV, via Prolog has greatly increased their speeds. It figures that you're not in the part of Hunterdon served by Patriot. Like 90% of the county is served by them.

Heh, yeah, I'm pretty sure when I can't get something I've been longing for for years.

It really does suck!

I am surprised Patriot did get a franchise agreement with them or just buy them out completely. Well i guess you will have to wait for 6-X yrs for Verizon, enjoy the upping of your taxes as well.
