Re: wpnt834 with intel 3945 wireless card problems When they say to disable the 11e QoS, how exactly do I go about disabling this? Under Configure > Advanced Properties I have an option for Ad Hoc QoS mode. This then gives me the option to enable/disable WMM. Am I looking in the right place?
Also, does disabling QoS affect network performance at all? If it indeed does... I might as well return this thing. |

 | under Ad Hoc QoS mode change it to disable but it still didnt solve the problem for me...Hopefully there will be a new firmware version for the wpnt834 to fix the 3945 problem soon. |

 | Actually disabling QoS did nothing for me either. Still got disconnected every time a bit of traffic came from my wireless connection on the Inter 3945. I decided to return the router and pick up a D-Link DGL-4300. I can't justify paying $130+ for a router that doesn't work with my hardware. |

bcwang join:2004-08-02 San Jose, CA | try setting the "power management" mode of the 3945 to "maximum performance". The 3945 is known to have disconnect problems with many routers because of the way it polls when under power conserving mode. |
