JakCrow join:2001-12-06 Palo Alto, CA | Spammed by Speakeasy A short time ago, I made an inquiry on speakeasy's web site about possibly getting service from them. Thursday, I was spammed with speakeasy's "inaugural" newsletter which I did not request. I will be taking my business elsewhere because of this. |

 | That's a pretty weak reason to drop an ISP from consideration.
Why don't you get comcast cable instead? Of course they might do maintenance in your area on a Saturday morning, disconnect your service, and setup a service appointment for next Thursday afternoon.
So which will it be? A sales follow up and a direct connection to your ISP's NOC, or no follow up (because they don't really want your business) and tech support delivered with that same level of commitment? |

 | reply to Michieru2 Seems like a perfectly reasonable complaint. A sales inquiry is not a request to subscribe to a newsletter. |

I have now, it makes things more clear on his reaction. Nevermind then. |
