[cable] Terayon tj715x power supply

I'm missing the power supply to my 715x and was wondering if I could just get a replacement from say Fry's or RadioShack...?
I looked up the specs on Terayon's site and they say 10-12v 300ma (typical) while the back says 10-12v -- 1A.

Could I just use one of those universal power supplies or should I get a specific one?

Make sure the voltage is correct, the amperage is adequate, the connector is the right one, the connector polarity is correct, and that the AC/DC is correct.

Would a 12vdc - 1a (with correct polarity and it fits) that I can get from BatteriesPlus work?

What were the answers to my questions when asked about this device?

What were your questions?

Terayon's site says 10-12v dc, 300ma. The modem says 10-12v 1a. Other people have said 10v 1200ma.

It dosent matter now anyhow; just bought one off of ebay, so nevermind.
