He is such a bundle of Joy! Lorenzo Antonio was born on June 6, 2006 at 6:19 PM (8lbs 1 oz 20 inches). Karrie was induced as 7 AM (water broke at 11) and went with no pain meds until 5 PM but only got to 4 centimeters!! The poor girl was dying and had to throw in the towel. She simply could not relax enough for her body to function. I tell ya, that Petocin is crazy and powerful. Apparently, the doctors told us that she was feeling the pain at 4 centimeters that she would have felt in a non Petocin birth at 8-10 centimeters! Furthermore, the 8-10 centimeter pain is not LONG, maybe a couple hours AT MOST (so they say), but karrie had experienced the pain for over 3 hours during contractions. So it was crazy. She even looked different and was telling me to quit acting like a jerk (I was not doing anything but coaching her) LOL I had to release her mind by explaining to her that the baby would come sooner if she takes the epi, and he did. She became human again and we had Lorenzo

Another beaut -- goodness, babies everywhere!
Hmmmm, I've heard that epidurals are great, couldn't have one with my first and they screwed up when they gave me one for my second! After that I retired from the whole process...
