Talk about privacy concerns, the Google Toolbar and even Google Desktop (not to mention the "Search Assist" and "URL Assistant" garbageware) is shipping straight from the factory on all our new Dell Optiplex PC's here at work. I can see them shipping this crap on a home user's PC but on corporate systems?
I still need to call Dell though and see if we can opt out of this crapware. |

 JRVS join:2001-06-01 Houston, TX | reply to mc2-2 I agree. Dell needs to stop doing that. Supports budgets are too tight as it is without them adding more software. First thing I do when I unpack an Optiplex is uninstall these 4 programs, and the ancient Java runtime they install. |
