The average speed is 8 mgb with a top speed of 20 mgb.

With cut throat competition all the major providers of broadband service in South Korea are struggling. The biggest failure has been Korea Thrunet, the country’s third-largest broadband supplier, which filed for bankruptcy last year and remains unsold.

FYI: I lived in Europe, my family is still there, I have friends in Asia - including SK -, so I know you're talking BS heavily. US broadband offers are pathetic when we are constantly beating our chest as we are the 'richest' (not true) or most 'advanced' (not true) country... it's simply makes me angry what we have here, this government-backed corporate monopolies all over the place, period.
