In theory, anything on your computer has come through the box, so you really shouldn't need to right click and scan, should you? Maybe I am missing something.

I agree, but I'm not sure about the heuristic capabilities of the anti-virus detection. What if something gets through the DSD-150 that doesn't have a definition?

Also, what if you have a local file that was on a USB key or CD-ROM? Those files would not go through the DSD-150.

That's the problem... I think it's internet only....

Those files will be scanned by the thin client running on each PC. There is also a Mac version of the thin client and there will be a Linux version also.
