kudos:1 | Just another cover up... With each passing day I have a growing feeling of disapointment in my country and in my goverment. All of these cover ups and lies. Why the fsck can't these assholes be straight with the American public for once? After all we pay their salaries. The goverment is stepping all over our freedom in the name of "terror". Hell I would much rather live in a world of fear instead a world without trust.
I really think America is heading for another civil war, its long past due. When it happens, who will you stand by?

Well it's good that more are speaking up but is it enough to cause a revolt? Since Americans haven't notice what's going on yet but do know that snooping on them makes them a little paranoid... Some are too happy to care about their privacy, even if someone break into their house to rape them they believe it's to catch terrorist. 
Americans are fed bs in public school. I did not learn anything useful nor was anything truthful about the world we live in. My knowledge only increased if I learned on my own. No one force feed me crap anymore and so I am not misinformed like some are. if they believe because they been told this and that, and their was no alternative viewpoint, how can we even form an opinion that was very bias to begin with?
All ya needed for a good grade was a good memory and since my memory sucked, my grade sucked. My intelligence did not increased until my memory improved.. My memory did improved but not enough to change the world for the better.
I lack brain power to think critically but I do try to max out and my head often hurts due to brain seizure, was seriously damaged when I was 3. was most abused physically and mentally to the point of near death. I was too nice to others and they took advantage of it. |

| I whole-heartily agree with you. I admit that during my grade school years I never questioned what was being "taught" to me by the state. Nothing more than propaganda for the most part. Luckily I had the opportunity to better myself with higher education. While many may say college is nothing more than high-priced day care for adolescents, I was fortunate enough to go to a great college, and in particular, my specific studies for my major showed me that there is much more to an education than simply memorising lectures and text for standardized testing. I believe it prepared me well enough to be able to see through the fog and really think for myself.
Although many are not as fortunate, I have faith that human nature will ultimately prevail. It may take a while, but the people will only take so much pressure and the corruption will be forced to end. Hell, I've seen attitudes shift greatly just in bbr forums alone. A lot of people are fed up with it and IMO it won't be long until action is taken.
The fact of the matter is, the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. The middle class is starting to fade out. And whether they like it or not, this will directly affect the powers-that-be. Hopefully a plague or an asteroid won't wipe us out of existence before that happens though.
