Harrisburg, PA | Infrequent? Doubt it... My mother-in-law called to cancel her service 3 weeks ago after migrating to DSL. The rep told her she has 3 weeks left in her year contract and couldn't cancel it then without incurring the ETF. Right... So she called on the day her contract was up and still spent 15 mintues on the phone trying to cancel the account. The rep knew she had come in over her DSL last connect and started telling her about her provider and trying to keep her on aol's BYOA service. I told her she should file a compaint with the state AG... this kind of practice is unacceptable! |
