| Vonage is worse My expereince tryng to close my Vonage account makes this AOL conversation seem polite. 6 phone calls where I was placed on hold for 60 minutes or more before I was finally disconected as soon as I stated why I was calling...followed by a BBB Complaint, which set up a 7th call which resulted in me being placed on hold for 45 minutes, and finally ended with me speaking to a CSR for another 40 minutes while he refused to close my account without going through his spiel. Then of course they charged me $39.99 for the service disconnect fee. I have since sent them a bill for my time on hold...we shall se if they reimburse me for my 6+ hours of BS hold time...
I really liked Vonage service, and was only canceling because I am moving to an area next week that doesn't have bradband available. I probably would have signed up with them again once broadband came to town, but now I will never deal with that company again...its no wonder their stock price keeps falling... |
