| | Woot I am calling today to either have our service dropped to BYOA or just keep the mailboxes. Haven't decided yet. But this is gonna be fun if all I want is the mailboxes. | |

| | Re: Woot How can you just keep the mailboxes? Is this something new they are doing? | |

| | The only way I know to cancel aol is to call your credit card company and request a new card with a new number. They will contact you when the next billing cycle comes up and the credit card is declined, then say you want to cancel and you are not giving them the new number. | |

Haven't decided yet. But this is gonna be fun if all I want is the mailboxes. I was on BYOA and had to cancel that... AOL rep worked with me and convinced me to keep the Screen Name for only $4.95 per month... Then I found out that AOL offers *free* screen names... Just cancelled the $4.95 per month, but I still have the freebee.
While I think the "Vincent Incident" is unacceptable, I have had positive contact with AOL CSRs. I may be in the minority. -- Who is "Roger?", and why is everybody saying his name on the radio?

It is also a good idea to suggest that your computer stopped working completely and that you cant afford a new one.
How do you refute that? But then again maybe AOL has some crazy phone based service that they can offer....
