It seems some DCS members haven't seen the compelling points presented here though I have yet to see a good reason posted not to adopt the suggested change. This small change can do our DC community good, not just the BOINC community. To me it's the difference between being distributed computing leaders or just some DC clubs at a great website.

Also, if the DCS is deliberating over this, I'm not sure it is right to discuss this while talks are still in progress.
Or is this just a way to try sway their thinking?

join:2002-06-19 | The dcs should be taking into account what the general public opionion is on the matter. The dcs should be implemeting what the community members want, not the other way around. So encouraging discussion, even while discussions are ongoing in the DCS should be completely appropriate.

| I disagree.
The DCS was voted in by the members to represent the members.
I am sure all of them are more than capable of deciding what is in the best interest of their teams.
If the general public didn't think they could do that, I highly doubt they would have been voted in.
