Suggestion for Team Names

Well, DCS has decided it's not in the best interest of all BBR teams. Sorry folks.

I've been informed my assumption was incorrect and the matter is not done with yet. Stay tuned.

Why don't you just wait for the DCS to decide and communicate to all teams ... instead of you leaking incorrect information out constantly?

This is going to be off topic, but it needs to be said. The DCS is a good idea, in that it gives the teams a way to discuss things and work through issues. The DCS is a group meant to represent the teams, any given team's reps are meant to represent the desires of that particular team.

But we no longer have preset teams and members. The new "adoption" policy for Boinc projects creates a situation where those running a project are suddenly thrust into a team without any public discussion, without any regard for the differences in opinions between the project runners and those of the team taking over. They have not voted for the reps now representing them, nor have they even agreed to the general intentions of the team they are now a member of. And I think Mookie has demonstrated very well that those desires do NOT always line up, and the Boinc project runners often get labeled as second class team mates whos opinions should be kept to themselves.

There are some issues the DCS should discuss in private. But only some, and certainly not things like this. This is a matter for everyone of every team to have input on.

Because the people who dedicate their CPU time at BBR need to be informed and allowed to make their own decisions. Who are you to pass judgement on me representing my team mates the way I see fit and the way that they demand? We don't wait for some "angel" to tell us what to do.
