In addition,
1) The last thing I want to do on a trans-Pacific flight is to get an email from my boss, and
2) On a domestic USA flight in the back of the plane, it's impossible to put your notebook on the fold down tray so you can't use broadband even it even if you had it. Wonder if Boeing even thought of the human factor?
Let the Blacberry fellows wear their thumbs out as the door of the plane closes |

Not only domestic. I was on an 11 hr trip to Japan recently, and it was impossible to use a notebook PC.
If Boeing actually wanted people to use the internet access, they'd have to give us enough room to use a PC first. |

Upgrade and you will get more room. Secondly the airline and not the airframe manufacturer (Boeing) decides on seat pitch and space. Don't believe me, next time in Japan fly a domestic ANA or JAL flight. It's tight! |

I did fly on an ANA domestic flight while I was there, one of their new domestic 777's. There was alot more room than there was on the American Airlines trans-Pacific flight; i could use my PC! Definitely not what I was expecting.
As to flying in cattle class, I try to as much as possible, but Biz class was full on this flight. And if the Connexion business model is to only sell to those few seats that are at the front of the plane, no wonder that the idea is a flop. |
