<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/408621"><b>redwolfe_98</b></A> : the MS KB917734 windows update is a security patch for windows media player, in my case, for windows media player 10.. <br><br>i found that running "system file checker", "sfc /scannow", replaces a file installed by the update with an old file.. consequently, windows media player 10 would not run..<br><br>you can fix the problem by going back to the windows updates website, scanning for updates and reinstalling the "KB917734" update.. ]]></description>
