I have a post in the direct forum, still waiting for it to be actioned. Luckily there is a bug that is making posts in there dissapear from the unreplied section which is what happened to mine, hopefully someone will notice it.

Hmmm. Might want to take the router out of the loop and hook the modem directly to the PC. Also temporarily turn off any firewall just for the speed test.

I'm grasping here. But those numbers really do like like a cap at 1500.

Tried without the router and without firewall, I too think its a cap at 1500 somewhere along the line. My post in teh Driect forum got glitched off the unreplied list, so I placed a call into Technical Support, supposed to be having a Tier 2 guy from CT calling me back sometime today.

I'm curious as well since what I see has no indication of that cap and there is only one place to cap service..

All fixed up, tech called me and said there was a problem with the way I was setup in the AT&T router. He made a few changes and now my speed test is at 4.75Mbs down.

I think I may be in a similar boat...I was scheduled to be upgraded to Pro speed today (7/7) and no change yet. Speed is still showing around 1250-1300 which is what I've always had. When I placed the order I was told everything looked ok, I qualify for Elite (but didnt want to spend the extra $).

I dont know if it's time to sound the alarms...does the upgrade usually get done on the day the say?

Could take longer. In this case the modem was actually syncing at the proper speed. Do you have access to your stats where you can check the sync speed?

I tried tweaks and router/no router, etc, and get the same speeds I've had in the past - 1200-1300 range. Most likely they havent done it yet, or they forgot me...

Much better now, thanks to MrF! I was a little behind the times and my upgrade couldnt go through. But it will soon..thanks Mark!

Happy ending! After a few glitches in the scheduling of the upgrade, it successfully went through today. I am getting speeds around 2300-2450 (Pro).

I will look at my settings later and see if it can be tweaked, but I'm pretty happy with it!
