Is our senators learning?

Frightening.

Makes you wonder how "informed" he and his constituents are on other matters important to our country...

He is from Alaska. The only state in the Union where the average person likely has a Cessna plane in their "driveway" and not a Chevy. They pass time by drinking and fighting in bars. It's not exactly the land of milk and honey ---- education.

They're rural people who don't really have a grip on modern technology. Now, don't say I'm stereotyping every Alaskan. But this is the majority of them.

These are rich lawyers from a entirely different mindset and age. They stay in power because they have been in power forever and have experience keeping it, as well as knowing where the bones are buried and who to call when you need a kit.

Nevr mind that they know that 99% of the US population are intellectual jackasses who have been thoroughly indoctrinated by institutions of higher learning and corporate bosses (never mind manipulating wives and girlfriends because of sexual "appetites".), to "get along" in society at any cost, lest your life be destroyed.

And, "getting along" means never, under any circumstances, let your wife, boss, or, anyone else in a position to harm your life, know that you are smarter than you look and can actually think, or, that you dont agree wholeheartedly with the drivel they spout and positions they take, because the moment you do, you become a threat to them and they WILL get rid of you, one way or another.

Especially since you only get ONE chance at the american dream game.

Well, those 60-80 year old senators really understand the internet. So they must remain in obviously!

I liked the wording of "They sent an internet to me". What the hell is sending an internet? Is this an email? I send email to others and they get it instantly. If it takes THREE or more days to get an email, time to get off your Apple II Senator.

I think we need some sort of QoS provision in the US Senate, so that content-free speech gets prioritized below meaningful traffic.

I wasn't aware drinking was allowed on the floor of the U.S. Senate.
