adsldog : It is not LoS but just like a small radio if you are in a valley and the tower is on the other side of the mountain, then no it could not get a signal to you. If the tower is on top of the mountain and trees and buildings are in the way it will pass through them.

LoneGreyWolf : I am curious if Wimax is a LoS product like the other wireless services out there? There is a wireless tower 10 miles away that services Bath, but because of mounatains and trees, I don't have direct LoS. Will this be something to look forward to in the future? Just trying to find a real broadband service I may be able to jump on.
