paul : Certainly hope this gets straightened out. I had malaria on a very fast machine, decided to move it over to another project, then load Malaria on another rig. I had set it to no new work last Thursday, Saturday I saw it still had 50 wu's lwft, all with deadlines within the next hour. I just detached from Malaria and switched the box over to another project.

Pretty dissapointing, to say the least....
--
Distributed Computing.... The Search....
Proud member of the Cajun Crunch Team

The tasks are crunched FIFO until BOINC detects a deadline problem then it goes into EDF mode.

The next version will work a little better instead of going into true EDF mode tasks with deadline problems will get more CPU time.
m00kie : I just found one of my machines crunching wu's whose deadline was the 13th after it had done the wu's for the 14th.

Needless to say, none of those results made it in.
