<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/1029810"><b>Mercurybird</b></A> : This kind of jazz is exactly why I have three full versions of NAV (2002, 2003, 2005)but don't use either one of them. I bought the full version three times because I was so faithful to them. But it seemed like every other time I updated, the update would break it. Then I couldn't find the info I needed on their website to fix it. Like searching for a needle in a haystack. :mad:<br><br>So finally I uninstalled it and installed Windows Defender and Windows OneCare. Then I setup a Smoothwall hardware firewall, and never looked back. No muss no fuss, but most importantly, no more problems.<br><br>Okay I feel better. My experience is important to the outcome of this thread. Take my input for what it's worth. (you might have meant that)<br>I click on that and it brings up cleanup screen, scroll down, I see Norton Antivirus 2006 12.2.0.13.  not the version you have.  Is that what you meant?  <br><br>What does this utility actually do?  Any affects on NAV and rest of my machine?<br><br>Also where in symantec did you get this information? Of course you'll have a lot of company if you're right :(<br><br>Maybe you could wait for the next intelligent update release (or try today's if you think it's worth a shot) and manually apply it to fully replace your existing definitions.]]></description>
