Not quite. I don't really WANT a landline, but because I have a child, it's not safe to not have one. I could deal without a Cell Phone if I lived in the city as well.. but since there's a possibility I could be broken down in the middle of nowhere, again it's a safety issue.

Most homeowners are also family's, because if you're single it's an awful lot of expense to own a home that is usually empty.
