I do predict...

That the changes the CEO predicted for September will be AOL's closure.
Or a rebranding.

And the world will be so much better then.

lower dial up price

I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but AOL lowered their price on unlimited dialup... they now have a 9.99 plan... with unlimited usage... i was listening to the announcement, and on one of the slides they still have the 25.90 plan, and it included everything... with the 9.99 being alacarte... i wonder what will be included in the 25.90..and i hope they don't get rid of the 25.90 high speed plan, which i have...

Yes they can...

But one thing I did notice that sucks -- AOL Radio drops down to the same level of XM offerings as AIM accounts.

We tried to switch to free BYOA online but we'll have to call in.

By the way, there is a keyword, if I remember correctly: AOL Keyword: Free ; that will let you choose your price plan of Free, or the $10/month plan which includes unlimited dial-up access. For me, the choice was simple, save the $15/month and get NetZero Free for dial-up service should we need it.

You can dial-in without their (NetZero) "dialer with ads" program by setting up a simple Dial-Up access using Windows XP's dialer. All you need is the username, and password.

By using the AOL Keyword: Free, you will save yourself some time on the phone.
