| lower dial up price I'm not sure if anyone noticed, but AOL lowered their price on unlimited dialup... they now have a 9.99 plan... with unlimited usage... i was listening to the announcement, and on one of the slides they still have the 25.90 plan, and it included everything... with the 9.99 being alacarte... i wonder what will be included in the 25.90..and i hope they don't get rid of the 25.90 high speed plan, which i have... |

But one thing I did notice that sucks -- AOL Radio drops down to the same level of XM offerings as AIM accounts.

| By the way, there is a keyword, if I remember correctly: AOL Keyword: Free ; that will let you choose your price plan of Free, or the $10/month plan which includes unlimited dial-up access. For me, the choice was simple, save the $15/month and get NetZero Free for dial-up service should we need it.
You can dial-in without their (NetZero) "dialer with ads" program by setting up a simple Dial-Up access using Windows XP's dialer. All you need is the username, and password.
By using the AOL Keyword: Free, you will save yourself some time on the phone. |
