Taxes charged for a specific reason almost never go for what it was supposed to. It just goes into the "general fund". That's why these things never go away, because the federal government always seems to "have a use for it" no matter what. They just can't stop spending money. They always need more. You could tax the rich 100% AND STILL NOT HAVE ENOUGH the way the government operates. |
