Of course they do. That's why Congress will come up with another tax to hit Americans. Everybody knows taxes don't go away...one is replaced with the other.

When it comes to taxes, any government has a hard time letting go. They think the more they tax the people, the more people believe they are actually doing something.
As we seen the tax was a way to fund the government's wasteful spending habits.
