Re: I have a question for any and all MODS/HOSTS

Maybe I am just paranoid, but I think sometimes I overuse that button. I don't use if for the following reasons, but sometimes I want to. I mean sometimes I really wish for the thumbs down button because someone says something that could be taken wrong or when they are starting to stir up anger (but not really flaming). Sometimes people tend to make a thread go down hill by taking the subject too far. I am not going to push the issue of thumbs down but I wish there was another option besides "hey mods". Do you know what I mean? I don't want to be a burden.

I think by the tone of these posts the mods/hosts don't see the users as a burden. If you read the original thread in my first post or wheelert's post on the good way and bad way of getting noticed at DSLR, you are keeping the site friendly by acting as an extra set of eyes.

You are not making decisions on what stays or goes, you are just merely drawing attention to a post because you are in a thread or Forum where a mod might not be at that moment. All mods have access to something going into the Hey Mods folder.

I also think if you were abusing it eg, chasing down a poster that had p*ssed you off and hey mods his/her every post, you would be told to knock it off, but I don't know.
