Mac users dont want the whole package

If you had a Windows PC, and Comcast, how would you feel if you were forced to bundle the "Mac Service Package" with your Internet Service, or have no HSI at all?

Now lets inverse it, If you had a Mac, and Comcast, how would you feel if you were forced to bundle the "Windows Service Package" with yout Internet Service, or have no HSI at all?

There's no forcing. It's an optional service, that wasn't even offered when I originally signed up for HSI. I don't use it, so should I get a discount, even though I'm a PC user?

I'd like the choice to decline the package and save the cash, regardless of platform.

They didn't increase the cost of the service when they added the "freebies", and I'm sure they would rather just take them away from everyone rather than refund anyone's money. Basically they offer them for the people who are too ignorant to realize the essential protection needed to be connected to the internet. You shouldn't even be connecting to your ISP without these protections in the first place.
