Re: [Cable] Dallas/Ft Worth Metro Vol I -- Time Warner When I came home from work, my wife said that at some time in the middle of the afternoon, MLB 198 came on the TiVoHD unit. In addition, Channel 96 came back on, too.
Whatever was going on at the headend appears to have been fixed. So, w00t!, and again, I'm sorry for dominating the thread with my MLB talk.
Now if TiVo would get some guide info in there... |

 | Is this just a mistake or intentional? Time-Warner has a long history of flagging everything as 0x02 for no reason.

Can someone explain to me what this means? Thank you. |
|
 | It's the copy protection the provider sets on the digital broadcasts.
0x00 -- copy freely 0x01 -- copy no more 0x02 -- copy once 0x03 -- copy never
The only people who probably even notice this flag are the Tivo HD/S3 users, who are prevented from MRV'ing or TTG'ing anything that's not flagged 0x00.

 | reply to dennis1x36 In Dallas, I've been experiencing some fairly frequent picture distoration (kind of like pixelation, but a little different with long, skinny distortion lines) on FX-HD, but not on any of the other HD channels. Just wondering if anyone else noticed anything similar. |
|
 | reply to dennis1x36 I'm in Richardson, and BIO-HD 764 has been without any audio for the last 24 hours. |

 | reply to dennis1x36 U know what I notice today, while the other TV Stations were doing the DTV Test, channel 17 which is TBN showed the message with the test screen and the message about the TV not being ready. It was the only channel that was not ready and the other channel 4, 5, 8, 11, etc. were working. I checked 17 and the other one in the 400s and was showing the message with my 2 tv that hooked uo to a line and one other with a HD Box. Any saw that? |

That means that TWC is using their Analog feed. |

Yes, Hussein and the DimRats seemed to be concerned that their propaganda machines may not work with all the idiots too lazy to have already converted. Can't cut off that Constitutional Right to Television ya know.
Hmm, wait a minute, where is that article or amendment in the US Constitution? Oh right, there is no guarantee by the government to be able to watch TV in the constitution. |
