OK you all need to slow down. First of all we are talking about *OPTIONAL* *FREE* software. Nobody is forcing you to download it. It's available at no extra charge if you want it.
There is no way to get a discount for software that's included at no extra charge. What are you going to do? Ask them to remove the $0 extra charge?
BTW I think major ISPs should completely stop supporting Apple. Make it one of those 'you're on your own' deals. After all we all know that Apple users and their machines are superior in every way...

That's the way it is with most ISPs already. The moment you mention you have a Mac you can almost see the deer in the headlights look coming through the phone!
