I requested a price alert from Newegg back on 08/08 and received a email tonight on the price drop and it went down to $299 on sale. I just bought it and Newegg gave me 1.1% off the total price for the preferred account so I got it for $295.71

It does pay to hold out.

--

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving
safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming

WOW!! On the one hand AM2 is out now, on the other, the AM2 version is only 512 L2 cache, making the 939 the better performer.
