norwegian : Thanks for the reply elios, i've bookmarked that site for later. From what i've read, the divider rounds up, there isn't a divider setting as such, so for 800Mhz to be run on this computer, the processor will have to run higher according to the Asus site. The forum talks about it in this link

»vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx?id=···ge=en-us

norwegian :
I have this new computer, and reading the Asus forums is scaring the hell out of me. It is running smooth, but I'd like to try and get the RAM using its capacity. It seems I need to O/C the processor to do this. Here's my specs

Asus M2N32-sli deluxe wireless, bios ver 0302
AMD 4200 X2, Windsor, 90 nm, running at 2210(11 x 200.9)
Standard heat sink and fan
GeIL PC2-6400 800MHz DDR2 Hand picked Dual Channel Kit,
2 MB, freq 315.7
Leadtek Winfast PX7900GT TDH 256 mb, with Antec super blower helping to cool it.
2 x 150 gb WD Raptors
Antec 550w EPS True Power ver 2.0
housed in an Antec "PlusView" Performance TX

Extras:
33 in 1 internal card reader
2 x sony dual format/double layer DVDRW's
Floppy drive
Logitech Z-2300 THX 3 piece speakers
Chi Mei CMV 938D 19" Widescreen DVI/D-Sub, 8MS 1440 x 900 WXGA

The O/S presently is XP pro 32 bit, but have ordered XP 64 bit to dual boot.

Basically other than flashing the bios, which I'm not sure I want to do, as it has been noted some boards failing, and with a years support, not sure how far that stretches. I would like to know if there is anything i can do to smooth it out.
May get an extra graphics card yet, but as I'm no serious gamer, and Vista isn't top of the to have list yet, guess that can wait.
I asked for the HDD's to be Striped, but will look into just having one as an image drive of the other, for backup, with possibly Acronis True Image. Mirroring, i guess with infections will hit both drives.
What suggestions do you have to fine tune this system, or add on to it. It will be what I have for the next few years, so would like to not play with it too much once it's all sorted, so anything I get for it will be in the near future, so I don't keep spending money. It may be an over kill for me, but it's all good quality, solid equipment, and hope will do what I ask of it.

Thanks
