From all the pre-auction hype, it sounded like the DirecTV/Echostar group was going to push hard so they could get heavily into land based wireless. Either they weren't financed well enough to keep bidding, or they are holding back and going to bet big at the end. It is like a poker game. Is Murdoch sandbagging or is he tapped out?
